All our medicinal plants are native to Sacred World of Plants. Some of them are no longer able to be wild-harvested, so we cultivate them on our farm.
At Sacred World of Plants, our resident sangomas use the medicinal and spiritual properties of local plants to facilitate healing in our clients and ourselves.
Guided by ancestral spirits and the spirits of the plants and nature beings, they prepare mutis (herbal medicines) to bring about balance and expanded consciousness.
Unlike many sangomas, we believe in sharing our methods and practices openly and transparently. On our daily tours, we invite you into an actual makosini (sacred hut of the ancestors) where readings and healings take place.
We show you how the plants are identified, gathered, prepared and stored, as well as how they are used in healing.
While you can just “drop in” for a tour at 10am, we encourage you to call first and let us know you’re coming: (082) 955 1404.
Many visitors schedule healing sessions after participating in a tour.
